Morris & Co. is celebrating 150 years of design. I have always loved the fabulous art nouveau, nature-inspired illustrations and textiles of William Morris. What a visionary! Stuffy and old-fashioned? You be the judge. Here are some of my favorite Morris and Morris-inspired designs. I'm currently in a re-decorating, re-organizing, re-inventing frame of mind and I am just loving the bold colors, the scale and the little bit of vintage-quirkiness. It's totally modern! Not your grandma's wallpaper! How does it inspire you?

I'd call these pattern a bit vintage or old-fashioned, but I think that's a big part of their charm. The one with the circles though strikes me as totally modern. They're all really beautiful.
